Hi in here,
I'm danish and I live in France. Domains is not new to me though I don't have much marketing experience.
I've sold a few danish domain, but I have this great .com domain which I don't know how to promote without getting ripped.

So - starting for fun, we can say.
-any great ideas or fun stories?

If you're worried about spurious buyers, I'd take a look at some of the tools available to domainers. There are places like Sedo, Uniregistry, Afternic, Undeveloped.com, etc which can help you with finding legitimate buyers.

The other route would be making the contacts at targeted companies or individuals and selling directly.
