As an abbreviation of "website" the extension would fully accommodate most niche/purpose specific website presences under one unified umbrella (commercial, information, network, organization, television, geo specific, etc), and it would do so without being a second rate English hack ccTLD like .co, .me, .tv, .cc, etc. Pure word play relevance minus any form of hack stigma or ccTLD based visitor confusion. The internet brand puritan's TLD dream.
