Your sick man, To tell you the truth I owned the best Domains Possibly available, relating to the virginia tech tragedy, and I simply gave them up, because i didn't see it moral of profiting off of tragedy.

Maybe you should rethink your approach on the subject of tragedy domains, because i don't think you wan't the news people at your doorstep like they were mine!

Why did you reg them in the 1st place?

Did you own them before the tragedy?

QUOTE]

If you reg them after. You are sick, not me.

Hokie.org was registered since 2004, not virginiatechmassacre.org, vtmassacre.org, and other related domains that was registered after the incident. Don't generalize my domain compare to yours.

I donated them to the hokies, and virginia tech school. I have some friends up there man. we got together since were in the domain business regged them, and passed them onto the school.

All i gotta say It's in the same category whether its Hokie, or virginia tech. I can get you some some college friends and they can direct you to where it should go. Dude, they need every domain they can get, they are planning to direct all website containing to the tragedy to 1 single site, for memorial and donations

You got the whole story wrong. I was selling them to donate to the vt charity, what happened i didn't list them with a donation so everyone went crazy. People make mistake, but in the end i made the right decision by donating them, with my fellow virginia tech friends. You don't know what your talking about. That forum means nothing, its just that the namepros people, didn't get my story right, and perceived me to profit off of tragedy, which i wasn't in the first place, we were going to donate them to charity, if they sold. but we finaly got in contact with the school and a couple of buddies of mine over in virginia helped me out to make the donation. Get your story straight and don't assume anything without knowing the truth first.

I normally don't stick my nose into some else business but judging how people conduct business in a sales thread is totally wrong.

As fas as I am concerned the seller has done nothing wrong with listling the name for sale. If you don't like the name then move on but should not judge people.
You come to the store to shop and if you see something you don't like you can't ask the store owner to take it off.

Making these kind of comments/remarks does not make you look smart and professional.

You need to respect people before expecting them to respect you.

These kind of comments/remarks are not only unprofessional but they are not acceptable either.

What do you try to get out of these comments? Think before talk.

Peace!

John

That must be whoever currently owns them from the school. Don't know anything, because they aren't mine.

Oh really? Want me to check Whois-History?
So you pushed them to a domainer who has accounts at Sedo and Namedrive?
Oh wait, you said you donated to the college... so... the college's run by a domainer?

I am about as anti tragedy, anti hysteria, and anti climatic events as there is. My previous posts will bear this out. I am a huge supporter of thie VT foundation set up.

I believe this is a legitimate and respectful name being offered. This is a branded name and it may actually come to have even more meaning and sentiment to an alumnus.

If there is any name on the market right now that is respectful and meaningful to someone who is a hokie fan it would be this domain. Respectful in that it does not detract or make light of the horror notrpay homage to the horror with all the bullshit adjectives attached to it. In other words, it has meaning and a meaningful message to the students, the faculty and staff of Virginia tech and the community of Blacksburg Virginia. It is respectful. It is honorable unless someone wants to buy it and bastardize it into something disrespectful.

Unlike many, I did reg 51 domains names before any other moron could get them and redirected every one to the site listed in my sig. VT expressed their thanks and gratitude for this effort and were totally aware of all the crap domains out there.

So, from me to you lvddomains, thanks for being one of the insensitive dumbasses out there that regged these for personal gain and bringing down a flood of negative publicity that CONTINUES UNTIL THIS DAY and will continue for quite sometime.

Sorry if I seem insensitive to your plight and situation, but that is exactly what it is...insenstive to you but definitely impacted by the tragedy.

This is quite a classic line:
To tell you the truth I owned the best Domains Possibly available, relating to the virginia tech tragedy
If that is not filled with bravado I don't know what is.

You could have made a fortune this past Saturday selling t-shirts at the Hokie graduation with all your domain slogans on them:

#1 2121HARPERHALL.COM
#2 DORMROOM2121.COM
#3 THEVICTIMSTORY.COM
#4 TRAGEDYOFBLACKSBURG.COM
#5 TRAGEDYOFVIRGINIA.COM
#6 TRAGEDYOFVIRGINIATECH.COM
#7 VATRAGEDY.COM

How long did you wait after the news broke to reg this one?

Domain Name: VATRAGEDY.COM
Registrar: GO DADDY SOFTWARE, INC.
Whois Server: whois.godaddy.com
Referral URL: http://registrar.godaddy.com

I didn't register any of these for personal gain. I don't own any of these! wtf are you talking about. get your shht straight. If you do any re -search on searched Virginia tragedy Domains on google or anywhere else. You won't find these names on any new headlines or journals. You are insane. These were profoundly donated and everything is taked care of. You shouldn't be on here stating false information. I don't currently own any of these.

"QUOTE"the horror with all the bullshit adjectives attached to it. If hokie.com is so meaningful Why don't this guy Donate it to the virginia community?

And for your information. I recently Donated those name. Also got gratitude from vt. i don't know what they did with them but I don't care because its out of my hands!
