HostMySite.com & other registrars / resellers

Does anybody have a current opinion on HostMySite.com as a domain name registrar / reseller? Good, bad or ugly?

Also, who are some of the lowest cost registrars at present where there is unlikely to be serious problems such as those that are affecting RegisterFly now?
