How Come No One Helps Johnn?

We are a member based community here to assist one another in this industry right? or at least most of us anyways.

Johnn keeps trying to run these live auctions here in the forum 100% no commissions from a domain sale.

Time after time we have a very small turnout, the ones that do turnout are just the sellers mainly, no buyers or end users? Who makes money selling to another member on this board, we all buy cheap and sell big.

Cant make any money selling to one another, or at the minimum make less money selling to one another.

I am wondering if any of you that are selling domain names are marketing the live domain auction coming next Friday the 11th?

I am going to be creating some creatives and adding them to my sites, including my developed sites that gather traffic and my Parked.com sites that gather traffic thanks to there custom page features now.

If anyone else would like to post a banner on your website to promote this upcoming live auction event on Friday Dec 11th and you lack the skills to create a banner or other creative, PLEASE PM ME (tldrental) YOUR BANNER SIZE NEEDED FOR YOUR WEBSITE AND I WILL CREATE ONE FOR YOU TO POST ON YOUR WEBSITE.

EVERYONE THAT HAS A WEBMASTER, SEO, OR DOMAINING BLOG SHOULD AS WELL POST THIS LIVE AUCTION!

Just wanted to make a point, if the auction is ran from the chat room, that will require a DNFORUM account.. So your audience is limited to who can actually get to that chatroom.

that's a point to consider, including if they (end-users) could get in, would they bid any higher than your fellow reseller?

additionally, how would you certify "unknowns" or guarantee that they would pay for the domain if they won it?

with members, they would jeopardize the loss of reputation or getting banned....with unknowns you have nothing to hold over them, they have nothing to loose.

Advertising outside of DNF will get more traffic to the site and hopefully more members (buyers ) will join.

I think only members can join the chat room and bid - I can check with admins on this one.

We also need to have a banner ad here as well. Many members are still not aware of the auction.

Carter will help me for the bookkeeping. I will need at least 2 people to take turn to be the auctioneer.

John if I only talk english a little better I want help you more than simply bookkeeping you know.

For don't repeat the same errors of the past (and sell domains each other like usual) we need MORE PROMOTION.

1- We need a banner on the forum soon.
2- We can send a special newsletter to all dnf members to remind the auction?
3- The guys have a blogs here (DomainMagnate, Elliotsblog,etc...) need to make some articles!!
4- Can Adam shot a mail to Ron of DNJournal and insert this auction in the "lowdown" section of DNJournal??
5- I have make some promotion on Facebook but I've see many dnf members on FB...guys promote this auction!!

We need more buyers, not more sellers.

- Donate DNF$
- Donate money
- Give free name
To sponsor the auction and to to draw the traffic.

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but why would I put a banner up to this site on my forum when i get *****ed at for having a small little link in my sig to my site..
