How do i go about selling my domain once i have an offer

my domain is registered with godaddy, do they charge to transfer it to someone..?

should i use escrow?

You can push a domain to another GoDaddy account for free, but get paid first.

Did they make the offer via email?
How much is the amount?
Do you know the person at all?

A lot of ways to handle depending on circumstances.

I use Escrow.com for payments above $1,xxx. If it's anything below then I use http://ecop.com escrow. About the transfer: You can ask the buyer to create a free account at GoDaddy and ask them to provide you the log-in id and e-mail for push.

How to push:
1. Log-in to your GoDaddy account and launch Domain Manager
2. Select your domain and click Account Change
3. Initiate Account Change window will pop up. Here you'll enter the buyer's user id and select "Use details from specified customer account". Enter the buyer's e-mail and hit Next.
4. Agree to the terms and you're done.

it was on another domain forum, offer is $80. should i use pay pal as well ? and no i dont know the person

If the buyer doesn't have good trader rating then use ecop, it supports Paypal payments.

If the forum member is in good standing and been around a while, I'd just do PayPal.

first, you have to accept the offer :)

payments options should be listed in post or provided via pm/email, etc

once funds are received, then push the domain or authorize transfer request.

try to get positive trader rating from buyer, then give same to them (this helps yo rep)

then you're done
