Sometimes when i type in a keyword, like thesaurus, in the browser address bar, it will automatically go to thesaurus.com. How does this happen? Sometimes it does this, and then sometimes it goes to a google/yahoo search results page. Anyone know how this ".com" auto-association is done?

Try it with Google's '"I'm feeling lucky". Same method. Browser intelligence :D

I believe that only works on firefox - takes the #1 google result? Not sure...

testsite.com

testsite

and will load that one.

i.e. test-site.com
