Maybe you pushed it to sedo's account, but the buyer needs it to be transferred out to buyer's preferred registrar, then sedo needs the transfer code to proceed the next step, though I don't know why sedo can not get the auth code themself.

Hello from Sedo,
In order to ensure that Sedo's escrow maintains a high fraud-free reputation, we have strict procedures regulating the release of payments.
It is not as simple as "Sedo received payment from the buyer so I can expect instantaneous release of funds".
First we run one last ownership check.
Then the seller must push the domain.
After that, we verify that the domain is no longer under the control of the seller.
This is done either via WHOIS or by directly contacting the buyer.
Then we must process the payment, which can take one business day, although this can take much longer if the payment is made by bank transfer.
We have to deal with time differences, language barriers, bank processing times and parties that sometimes fail to respond promptly to transfer instructions.
