we have to create a bottom and stick to it..for those names that hold true inherent value.

we aren't selling cheap chinese toys here ( no offense chinese people ) we own ONE OF A KIND REAL ESTATE

we control the prices and the demand is always there - the supply - each one - individual - one of a kind..

Nice thread Carter. And congrats on a good year. In my world $170K is a living wage, and my hat is off to anyone who can do this full-time.

I've been doing this almost exactly 12 months and to date have made $720 from adsense, $120 from Amazon affiliate sales, and mid $xx from domain sales.

News Years resolution: built out sites on my portfolio of names.

Good thread. It should inspire everyone of us to work harder next year. Domaining is not really my stuff, more like a hobby with a side income. For domain I make more than 1K but less than 5K for the year 2008. With all the reinvest and all, that's all I can estimate. Cheers and a happy new year.

I didn't make a cent so far with domaining. Only recently i've changed my strategy and became more serious in domaining and developing. So, now getting rid of most domains in my small portfolio and start developing.

I'm very positive about 2009 and hope it will be fruitfull for all of us.

I too am new (to domaining) myself, June/July 2008 - Development got me into domaining, and development is where i've made my serious cash. Domaining is about turning a $10 investment into a profit; as for that i've done well.
