I have a directory with over 40,000 pages, 25,000 indexed by Google. The pages range from PR5 down to PR0, with a MarketLeap linkpop of 11,100. The site gets about 3,000 visitors a day.

I'm considering selling site-wide and category-specific links on this site. Could you give me some idea of the going rate for something like this?

Thanks in advance...

A few things that will make a difference in my opinion is of those 40,000 pages and 3000 visitors how many pages are viewed by each user (basically how long do they stay on the site). What is the site about (what industry). How many pages have PR4-5. What are the ages of your visitors. Where will the links be on the site (too many people add links on forums and such way at the bottom where no one really sees them). How many ads are you going to allow?. Will you be allowing ads that match your website content or anyone that wants to buy?

When I buy text ads I look at all of the above if I am going to pay for them $5-10/month.

Again this is just my thinking on your questions.
