I have been looking for offers and (marketing them a lot) on my 100 plus 3 letter .us portfolio (lots of good letter names) for many mos and all I ever receieved was a low ball offer for 1 name. The 3 letter .us market is very slow and declining with no bottom in sight it seems.

The question is, will the final selling price be worth the renewal fees in the end.

For what it's worth, I am holding mine in hopes of better times ahead for them.

Not that many 3 letter .us, maybe 50-100. I don't categorize them that way. Still planning on holding mine for now though, the market is down too much to sell at the moment. 6-7 years is definitely a long time though.

Check them for popularity as terms using Google Ad Words Tool. While no one knows what someone will want to buy, the really popular groupings of letters that are used a lot and searched for a lot are the ones to renew as the odds of selling them is greater.

I have about six hundred LLL.ca and they do very well, ...however, it is all about the letters. especially the last ( third) letter. S, E, A, I, M, It is the luck of the draw, so the more you own the better it is, as the sales will help carry the renewals on the rest. not an expert on the dot us, as I only have a couple...but I love acronymns...

I have paid 1.5K for a dictionary keyword LLL (eat).

For acronym combos: up to low $$$.
But I have enough of them and the .us market is flat, no reason for me to increase stocks.

I have a good news. US dowjones has just broke the epic 11000 mark. US domains will be sky rocketing.
