For Sale how to analyze and compare drop lists

Hi,
is there any software able to analyze droplists to give you purchase signals? For example, a software with a dictionary embedded able to check for typeins, short domains and other useful stats... it would be nice I'm new to this and I'm trying to learn, so any suggestion is appreciated. thanks!
