How to find out when a domain was first registered?

Are there any tools available to look this up? I'm not talking about the date the domain last indexed/crawled but when it was registered for the very first time. Thank you
 
For some you can, by using DomainTools.com - however, not 100% of domains can be tracked this way. Also try Archive.org
 
You can also try to get some insight on this indirectly - by looking at the domain name hosting history, e.g., at hosterstats.com or something like this. However, this approach doesn't guarantee getting the complete data either.
 
You can also try screenshots.com, although it also own by domaintools.com but it would give show you when the domain was first registered and also some screen shots..
