I have reffered many of my clients to other hosting accounts and I want to start profiting from it. I was wondering how to go about starting a small hosting company. All info would be appreciated. Can I have a company hold the server and rent it out to me or....?

Good advice from lots there.

I have a reseller account myself at www.Voxtreme.com where support is second to none.

Of course having clients is another matter - support to them must be highly considered and can take a lot out of your day, depending on their level of expertise in having a website.

You'll be needing some sort of payment system for them to buy your services, a helpdesk maybe and a forum can come in handy.

It can be a can of worms however, it can be very rewarding.

I would definately start out with a reseller plan until you build a client base. Your best bet would be to find a niche to target specific clientele (sp?).

Vist webhostingtalk.com, if you haven't already.

I couldn't get into your site lots because I turn Java off when visiting new sites. I'm going to buy hosting for my 250 domains today. I'm looking for a deal like the basic Oxeo one.

What about nocster.com or rackshack.net? Both of those companies offer $99 servers...

Thanks for the head's up. I have heard of people negotiating with server resellers, but never knew if it was actually possible.

I may try that. :D
