Hey guys,

Snapped this one up a couple of days ago. Gets about 1300 global monthly searches at 4.94 CPC. Assuming I got small traffic volumes what would you valuate this domain as?

Thanks!

You can't assume anything in a valuation unless it's a proven fact. Right now, you have a pretty decent search globally, but do those markets pay as high as US markets or vice versa (did you check that for the CPC?)... but that doesn't say much at all. Develop a minisite, see some traffic and revenue... then can reevaluate the situation.

Thanks Biggie,

Thanks David - I look at the US global searches which are 1300 at $1.50 and obviously that's not set in stone. More of a marker, because if for example the minisite isn't optimised correctly for a top 10/20 Google position then I won't see any of that.

Searches are not about your domain, they are about search terms, and add nothing to a matching domain.

***If you rank 1st*** for that particular term... well then search numbers might mean something.

MINUS reg fee, since that domain, as is, is not an asset, but an expense.
