Justin, did you pay 10K for it?...its not a c&d worthy domain unless its used for profit, and the offers are true, as I stated in my previous post, i have a visitor offer from a guy who offered me $10K
How is it an infringement, haven't you been reading, its not a c&d worthy domain unless its used for profit,
Raider,
Your justification was lame. Yes it is Brandable, Yes it is 6 words long, however its keyword rich, in case you do not know what that means, thousands of people search this exact phrase each month, lengthy or not, its value is based on the richness of the phrase (and it receives plenty of type in traffic, research it). How is it an infringement, haven't you been reading, its not a c&d worthy domain unless its used for profit, and the offers are true, as I stated in my previous post, i have a visitor offer from a guy who offered me $10K, you can see for yourself. Why would I post false information, do you see me trying to sell this domain name in here, or do you see me asking for what people think about this domain?
Thanks for your time, there's no need to respond anymore..
Justin
That would make the name worthless then; a $7 year liability.
Seriously, time for a reality check, Justin.
If you have an offer for 10K, or 13K, or 200K, take it.
There is no point discussing the upside of this or the downside of this.
Just be prepared to legitimize your claim in a court of law.
No matter what you accept in payment is great!
And there is a chance that nothing will ever happen.
You need to find someone foolish enough to buy it and make sure they are not a member here and make sure they are a complete and total idiot to domaining.
That is not an insult but a very strong suggestion.
Anyone with any marketing of advertising background is going to ask the same questions here, domainer or not.
Everything you claim the legal person from ebay needs to be put on paper to cover your ass.
Perhaps the professor at 200K can hurry up and make an infomercial, get it aired, and sell the hell out of the DVD package.
That is a VERY strong possibility and not a bad thought at all.
The point is, be prepared to defend you position all the way.
Its that simple.
No one here is blasting you, per se, but blasting away at the name and pointing out the risks associated with the name.
You asked for an appraisal and justification for the appraisal.
The rest is up to you to digest all the information and determine if the risk is greater than the benefits (or vice versa).
Who is the professor ?
Surely you used told them they were wrong and you were right. :smilewinkgrin:Got a letter from ebay for EbayPartnerProgram.com (Mistype for EbayPartnerNetwork.com) Got quite a bit of traffic and I suddenly had a cease and desist letter from Ebay... within 2 weeks! Not worth it man, be careful with TM domains...
Surely he would just ditch his own site and all of its offerings to have this one coveted name. :lol:http://www.videoprofessor.com/
and this is his commercial - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHNDzop1OEo
