I need 3 brave souls to test out a desktop based bulk Google Pagerank checker. This is the same PRC I created 6 months ago and never got around to finishing. I redid the thing from scratch.

You must be a WindowsXP user.

its not designed to crash computers, but with Windows, anything is possible...

above users will be e-mailed the download link on Monday. i'm not taking any
more beta testers so please no pms or emails.

if you are interested in purchasing the software after a final version has been
released, please contact [email protected] with "PRC Purchase" in the subject line.

it will run about $100/each in the first batch, $200/each thereafter with support
and updates for the life of the product. in other words, if google changes something
and it stops working, we will do everything in our power to get it to work again.

will get to keep the product for free.

Everyone else's key will be terminated when sales begin.

This is to ensure that beta testers do what they are asked to do, test

I've only run it once and it worked fine and I go to start it up again and I get this.

Ok. Make sure Internet Explorer is closed when you launch the application.

Make sure you have the latest Google toolbar installed.

Make sure you have Windows XP installed.

Please run it again with those things listed above and let me know if you
experience any other problems.

weird everytime I forget to close IE the program closes it for me automatically ;-). I'm surprised its not working for your system.

Also I too had a few minor problems in the beginning because I thought I had the latest toolbar installed. I uninstalled it and installed Google toolbar 2.0 and the program ran much faster.

Luc, is there a way you could have the PRC checker check your google toolbar version against google's server (i'm not a programmer so i don't know how its done) so you know when its time to update?

Found out what it was, you can't have KAZAA open when you run the program lol thats was the problem.

As far as checking the if the user has the latest toolbar version, very good
suggestion. I'll look into it and see where (if anywhere) it's saved and
extract it.

Good point on the kazaa thing, I'll add it into the requirements.

A few people suggested adding in Linkpopularity, SE checking feature but
since I've done this previously in my DR software, which I no longer own,
I cannot do it again. This is why I have provided links in the PRC to DR
for those users interested in linkpopularity results.
