find a new name this way when you are a porn empire no one will get them confused with you and you loose traffic...lol Porn empire! wasn't there anything else you wanted to be when you grow up, besides a porn empire?

Well if you own it now, you own it now but if you do actually build an empire on it and therefore a brand you will losse traffic to the .com and when you try to buy it of them then they won't give it up cheap. I would try to buy the .com now (put your .net in private) or just find a whole new .com

i agree with poker
more so than any other category, in adult you HAVE to have the com imho

obviously a top generic one word in a cctld is sweet, but if you're going brandable. com baby

i'll have a look thru what i got if you're buying? :cool:

start a wanted thread if you do........

This thread can't be serious... come on guys there are good names dropping, waste your time on something serious....

:rofl::crazy:

If I wanted to create an amateur pic site. All exclusive pic site of hot canadian chicks do you think the domain NudeNorth.com would be any good?

Sites like these are a dime a dozen, almost anyone can go to a newsgroup and download amateur pics for free, and for just about any ethnicity and fetish you can think of.... This is one of the reasons why the online porn industry is dieing a slow death.

Nowadays, you need to find a real good niche, something very few sites have, where visitors will gladly pay money to see. These are the sites that receive the highest conversion rates for affiliates..

And if your dream is to build a porn empire, I strongly suggest you educate yourself FIRST before dumping any money into licensed content. You might want to attend a Internext convention and enroll in some of the seminars.

As for choosing a domain, This should be the least of your concern right now.. Find your niche first, then look for the domain according to the niche you choose.

Well, the porn industry likes to spoof on a popular name, then hire an actor with a face that resembles that famous celebrity.
