I don't think any credit card company will buy it. Which credit card company will like to be associated with the phrase "Identity Theft"?

Regards,

Citibank? I loved their commericals. (It was Citibank, wasn't it?)

This is a great name.

It's just a matter of finding the right market/niche. Credit card companies (blue suits- or brick and mortarheads as I call them) might opt for a more trademarkable name like:

identityProtect.com
identityguard.com
identitysafeguard.com
identitysafe.com
secureident.com

boring, stuipd and more boring...sound familiar (don't bother - their registered)

but someone interested in allowing clients to report identity theft- the government, a private agency as mentioned, etc.

I know fraud.com exists...

search query: report identity theft - put the top 100 people on your mailing list and see what happens....

-----------------------------------------
>I just had kind-of an afterthought: There must be some law firms or insurance companies that specialize in id theft claims. (who do the credit card companies call to insure them and represent them when people steal their clients id?) I don't know but with a little more research...The good news is, they thrive on somewhat sensationalistic, negative-verbage names (like yours) and they all have deep pockets!

Good luck- LT
