Re hi all,

my last post looking for some IDNs appraisal encountered some criticism, and i partially agree with that.
Now i have some IDNs that have real meanings in the language of the country which the charachter belongs.

Wish to get an appraisal if possible from the DNForum members which deal with IDNs.

Here the small list with the translation:
ciò.com ("that" in italian)
giù.com ("down" in italian)
sipuò.com ( "it is possible" or "it can be done" in italian)

Thanks.

Hi Click,
These names have much more potential than the "clones",you're definetly on the right track.I personally feel it's still a bit early for those particular domains to get traffic or be worth a significant amount.
My reasoning is that IDN's are so young right now that only the absolute top-tier keyword domains will have any value..Just like it is for .biz,us,or anything new.
What you have are very common words, that's for sure, but they don't have any commercial applications.I would generally try to stick to place names, products,or extremely strong keywords like multimédia or müzik.
Another thing is the fact they're Italian.I really don't know how widespread IDN's are in Italy and I've never run across anyone with Italian IDN's..With the number of accented letters they use,it's probably a very fertile market.
I do know that the #1 country for IDN registration and development is Germany, with Korea a very close second.Usage in France,Turkey,Austria,China, and Japan is growing fast as well.
As for an appraisal,at the moment I'd have to say low $XX for each for the first two.It just seems too early to me for a regular common word to be worth much.As for sipuò.com "sipuò" has 0 Overture results on the Italian OVT,so I unfortunately would have to say reg fee.

If I would like to own some IDNs, I'll only get one letter IDN!
