Hi All,

I'm back on DNF after a long hiatus. I am committed more than ever to make domaining work for me.

I currently have a portfolio of 10-15 domains, which I will list soon on DNF to get some appraisals. Some domains are from web project ideas that haven't worked out just yet and the others are 4 letter .com domains.

Ideally, I would like a mentor to get me back into the swing of things. I'm looking to build up my portfolio (carefully) over the next few months and sell a few in a couple of months time. Also, I'm wanting to monetize my domains, but would like some advice as I don't think I will have lots of time to develop them.

I would appreciate your advice/ guidance and any offers from mentors would be much appreciated.

Thanks

As usual... buy low, sell high... the business didn't change much since then :) Well, but seriously read this board, other resources and talk as much as possible to other members to get a better idea on what are you going to do.

Hi, Xaster

My advice is don't buy anything from anybody for awhile, and don't register any new domains. Instead, consider finding someone with domains you think you can connect with a buyer in the real world. Talk to the owner, explain what you'd like to do, negotiate a good commission percentage, and then try to sell that person's domains with only sweat and no cash in the game. After failing for awhile, you'll learn what works. Then you'll know where to put your own money.

And don't believe anything anybody says (including this) until you've calibrated their advice against your own experience.
