A very good .US domain name. As of now, lower X,XXX. As an owner of some excellent (in my opinion) .US domain names, I can tell you that getting XX,XXX for ANYTHING .US is exceedingly difficult. A few have sold for that amount but it's only a handful.

DNJournal.com has a good list of recent sales. As you will see there and elsewhere, you will find that there are a lot of people who would rather have a three word .COM rather than a one word .US.

Not far from where I am there is a radio station that uses something like '955fmtheoldiesstation.com' (or something simlilar; please don't ask me to actually remember it!). They could get 'Oldies955.US' which sounds quite good to me but, N-o-o-o!

The good news is that domainers are beginning to have some (wholesale only) interest, at least. Retail is coming; I hope!
