in page html editor

i have a basic html editor in my CMS i have written, but it will not work on a mac, as it uses MSHTML js files..

does anyone know of a free basic html editor (addon) i can give to my clients so that they can just add bolds, paragrpahs, and colour fonts.. so that it is cross platform..

(i have seen Ektron eWebWP but the clients does not have an updated version of flash , their network admin, does not allow it!!!!!)
