could anyone tell me (from personal experience, preferably) the cheapest registar for .info domain name purchase. Kindly note that it should preferably be free or very low rate for transfer.

Try powerpipe.com $7.99/yr (I think the minimum is 2 yrs for .info/.biz?)

They do free transfers and dns/url redirection also.
