I thought that I'd post a chart from a recent online presentation that I conducted as it gives a really good picture of what has happened to domain monetization since Sept 1.
The numbers are the percentage change in revenue benchmarked to September 1st. The ParkLogic (blue line) initially increases and then falls due to both Google paying out less and a flood of traffic hitting the tier 2 advertising providers. The blue line jumps up from the 22 Oct due to a suite of innovations that we released (the entire presentation was about these). The impact was an overall performance increase of about 40% compared to September 1st. In addition, I should add that less than 1% of our revenue comes from Google.... Any domain investor that depended upon Google has seen a decline of 95% in their traffic monetization earnings.
At ParkLogic, we are innovating our way through the downturn and it's working. We still have a long way to go...!
We will be releasing our new website (https://parklogic.com) on the 31st October and it covers off all the different innovations that we are releasing.
