Interesting 'Narnia' WIPO trademark case

The C.S. Lewis estate demands and wins a domain name that had been registered as a present for a 11-year-old boy and that apparently had not been improperly used to infringe on the "Narnia" trademark: http://news.scotsman.com/entertainment/Once-upon-a-time-in.4319066.jp

Old news. Bad decision imho. (I didn't read the decision through, so I don't know all the details of it though)

Correction: I guess that article isn't new but I had read about this over a month ago somewhere else...

Maybe it was a different but similar case I was remembering... or perhaps it hadn't been decided yet (when I read about it). In any case... It appears the parents are publicity stunt artists... for non profits supposedly. This could very well have just been another stunt, except that nowhere does it mention any business or non profit...

Later that day the law firm contacts the family, saying: "What would you consider a reasonable offer?"

Talk about baiting!!!

Thank god they had the correct response.
