I sold a name on sedo and the buyer is requesting an invoice that I have to upload to sedo. Anyone else ever have to do this ? What are the tax implications in the long run ?

Thanks :)

Normally Sedo invoices the buyer. I never had to upload an invoice.

Yes, Sedo should provide. Not positive but believe the buyer can log in, go to this transaction and print from there.

Cheers,

Just itemize the proceeds on the invoice e.g. what you receive and what Sedo receives.

I have been asked for an invoice before...usually, the correspondence Sedo gives the buyer is enough...but some buyers want more. As acro said...itemize what you get and what sedo gets...

The tax implications should be the same.
