closed is Host24.com the most valuable "host" domain after Host.com ???

But actually I like it a lot better than many of the domains you listed denny, specifically:
phphost
sitehost
asphost
businesshost
In terms of brandability, Host24 sounds really nice and has a great potential.
Reminds me of Site5.
However, there are TONS of domains that can be used as host domains. "The Planet" comes to mind. 100% branded, but a solid name now in the industry.
When it comes to hosting companies, they are not always looking to spend their capital on a domain. It's more important to have money invested in the infrastructure of their setup than to have the best domain.

Marketability is hard to evaluate, but asp host, php host etc is what are people looking for. They never look for "host 24" - and hosting is expected automatically to be up 24 hours a day, it is not something special, it is expected part of it. It would be same like "running car" or "eatable bread". And for domain with a number you are loosing the "word of mouth" potentional a little. So host24.com is not bad but very far from beeing "second best after host.com"

i think host.net would be more valuable than host24.com, but host24 is still a decent name.
