yes, choose "Start a Conversation" when you click on a members' user name

Thanks, Don. But then how do I send the conversation? Once again, I can't see how to do it and Enter doesn't have the desired result.

if you click on other user's handle his details will pop up center screen right where you are on dnf. there you'll see link to start convo. you can also start it from other user's profile and even from your own if you happen to know other user's handle.
