Hi all,

The domain visitcuba.com has been sold for $111,000 last year. I own ivisitcuba.com. I'd like your opinion. Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of sale prices that have been reported publicly,
that are, how can I put it, somewhat "embroidered upon".. and
I think this is one of them.

In any case, ivisitcuba.com is a little awkward in its message, and
is worth $750 max...

Hi all,

visit+country.com domains are sought after because they are quite often official tourism websites, so there is an expectation you are going to land on a useful website.

But ivisitcuba.com is a far cry from visitcuba.com.
visitcuba is taken in quite a few TLDs while ivisitcuba is only taken in .com (since early 2012 but you probably know that).
Besides, the sale was not just about a domain but a developed website:
http://havanajournal.com/business/e...ys-cuba-domain-name-visitcuba.com-for-111000/
No idea about how much the domain would have been worth undeveloped.

Also, I tend to think that this kind of name is risky:

I know it doesn't help much but good luck anyway :yo:
