Many deceased celebrity heirs maintain rights to the person's name, images, likenesses, and usage. Some even employ agents and managers to manage this. And some of those rights are exclusive lifetime rights.
The question is will you or would you get caught. I am sure there are tons of unofficial fan sites out there.
Personally, I love it and her Big Brother and the Holding Company stuff.
