Jihad actually means to "struggle against opression".

And its not muslim holy wars .. its people perverting a religion for their own gains [power, influence, etc] gains.

Jihad = effort, in many languages even the one Jesus (pbah) spoke. The word Jihad is much older than Arabic. Jihad is more about turning the other cheek than about war.

"infidels" as mentioned in the Quran, refers mostly to Arabs, especialy to Mohamed's relatives in Mekkah - some of them are mentioned by name.

China also has many more Muslims that you would belive - just as nice as the American, Australian, Russian and British Muslims - and many other non-Arabs
