Offers Job in the UK? - JobInTheUK.com

I moved to the UK for work a couple of years ago and found that starting with temp roles through local agencies helped me get my foot in the door. Networking in community groups and checking smaller job boards worked better than the big sites for me. A friend even switched fields after finding some Floral Designer Certification Info online, which gave her a clear path to a niche job she enjoyed.

@Wot feel most welcome using my FB groups (created to promote jobs.it.com): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aP5fNscMOYSWOCH9VRvgAxBdF8BmabRcnhKH1aFT6wk/edit?usp=sharing

.. created these groups a while ago, prepared the software to be able to post into these, and shortly after FB removed 3rd party app permissions posting to the FB groups :)

@nicenic :) my HongKong and IT Jobs in China groups are really small.. any ideas on how to get a boost for these? .. btw > if you have vacancies >> feel most welcome to post these there, and also at jobs.it.com :) .. + you will get some decent backlinks ;)

Hi dear Helmuts,

To make sure I understand correctly, could you please clarify what you mean by "China groups"? Are you referring to groups on Facebook, LinkedIn, or are you looking to recruit IT professionals from Hong Kong or mainland China?

We do have access to local talent pools on platforms popular in both Hong Kong and mainland China, so happy to explore ways to help!

Good morning,

Yes, I was curious on how to jump-start both groups in Facebook :) .. though, this isn't that really important :D :D

.. what is interesting:

.. we (me and Yue Dai) are working on this one! And, if successful, see you and your team in November in Hong Kong :) how does this sound? most possible dates: Nov 18-19, 2024 (yes, this year). .. currently can't really share more details, my apologies..

Good morning, Helmuts, and good afternoon from my side! 🥳
I've connected with Jack. Once the conference meeting time is confirmed, could you please remind me via LinkedIn or Twitter?
Also, do you have a WeChat ID? If so, feel free to add me: NiceNIC_Helen

Hi, my wechat: helmutsm

If you're pitching JobInTheUK.com as a domain tied to training or career paths, I once linked it with healthcare roles and even leaned on this sterile tech cost guide to compare entry paths and show the low barrier for people switching careers. Using resources like that made the domain feel more useful and helped buyers picture real-world applications, which usually sparks better interest in threads like yours.
