nRnF, we need to talk.

I own and operate http://www.jooms.com

You also need a design makeover on your site but the concept and functionality is fab. I've downloaded the component and will report on how it performs...

Any voluntaires with Joomla ?[/COLOR][/B]
I have several Joomla sites.

I am not a whiz in Joomla but could possibly help.

I could possibly do the install on a .com and a .mobi if the install is not complicated and straight forward.

The install is straight forward as any other Joomla component/module.
I appreciate any testing outside my server, just to make shure I didn't miss something ;)

Is it possible to add a feature where we can save the data in the database for future archive reference just like whois.sc tool?

Let me know,

This feature somehow is built in.
In the admin panel you can set the "last viewed" URL numbers.
So the data is saved for the last "x" URLs.

How would you like this feature to be exactly.
E.g. Based on username and respective querys ?

I like how I can modify the search results. But I noticed even with some TLD's, like .mobi, when searched they are taken and those results come back.

However, the listings showing the other TLD's and availability (or not) come back as the same .mobi being available.

Or you can do it just by putting in infield as the search term.

The results clearly show that it is registered and a site but the ending synopsis is that it is available for registration.

Correct,
At first sight it seems to be e issue for the .mobi WHOIS server settings in the admin panel.
There are so much WHOIS servers to set for all TLDs and ccTLDs.
Will take a look at it.

Thx

nRnF, this is a nice component, though even I'd love to 'capture' the data and store it for retrieval when the specific domain page is called again... not sure how this can be done.

But it works really well for the function it is supposed to. I'm planning on installing this on one of our new sites and update you with how that goes - currently just checking the code.

You might also be better served with 'HackerSafe' certification or similar, will get a lot more usage then. Cheers!

If I whois hardworking.com today that's 1 record, then after 10 days I whois it again that's 2nd record. So the archive will go on. It would be nice if we can set a number of days before we can append a new record.

I will download and install this for NetworkQuery.com, great addition.

The whois query will only limits 100 a day. Is it possible to originate the whois search using visitors ip instead of the server ip?

Let me know,

There is a built in feature in the admin panel that supports "proxy servers". Just set them (min.5) and enable proxy support in the main admin panel.
That should give you enough queries ;)
PS: Make shure the proxies you set are anonymous and working.

Thanks.

Can you enhance the archiving of data with 30 days limit or so to receive next update? But we keep the record of number of whois query to a domain. It this doable?
