This is a very tough name to appraise. It really doesn't have a strong commerical appeal, but it has value as a "Novelty Name". Some of the most overrated names are names that are actual words/dictionary names that don't have obvious commercial uses. This is one of those. And since it is a .net, it also hurts.

However, even with it being a .net, this is a nice brandable term, that is also easy to spell. There are probably a wide-range of end-users, as well. These end-users could be anything from someone putting up a site about serial killers, to something like a horror-movie site. There are possibilities out there, but the problem is in finding these people without turning it into a full-time job.

There are probably a number of sites with the word Killer that are at the .net extention, too. They could be possible buyers.

$500 is the value I put on it. It will take a lot of luck and/or hard work to get much more than that, and I am not so sure this is the type of name you could fire-sale quickly.

Nice traffic the only problem is it isn't converting into revenue.

If it makes $5 a month. Based on revenue alone i'd pay you $150 if you're lucky.

How long before you make up the $3000 ? 5 x 12 = $60

3000/60 = 50 years, i'll pass.

Domains have more value than parking revenue. This is a nice brandable name with many potential end users.
It could go up to mid $X,XXX to the right buyer.

I think it definitely could go for x,xxx to the right buyer. I can think of a few different ideas that would be great for development. I wouldn't take less than 1k or so for it.

Killer: legs, looks, gazongas :D etc. Definitely has a meaning outside of the literal one.

Definitely agree that it could be $x,xxx. How about throwing it out there on an auction and see what you get? Put a minimum reserve that makes you feel comfortable and you get satisfaction out of it. I wouldn't hold out for more than $x,xxx though. You could also contact the killer.com owner and see if they are interested.
