Leasing A Domain

Does anyone here lease their domains or know how it works? Had an inquiry on one of my domains and the buyer along with asking for a price, wants to know how much it would be to lease the domain. If the price is $5000 for the domain, what kind of price should I be quoting him to lease?

Thanks.

Hi

basically, divide $5K by the number of months it takes to pay that amount (plus interest), that you/client can agree upon.

if it's 1 year, then 5,000/12 = $466.66 per month

if 2 or more years, then "2nd year payments" would be slightly higher as they would include interest (5%)
1st yr. $208.33 per month x's 12 = $2499.96
2nd yr $218.75 per month x's 12 = $2625.00
total = $5124.96

add "late fee" clause and or maybe ask for down payment, if you want.

Good Luck!
imo...
