Im not much of a fan, but interestingly that the owner placed an expensive ad worth about $30 + regging the name. Name is not trademarked but surely the record company would want it. I feel bad for the guy that sold this name to me. Being close to Christmas and all. His girl may be pissed at him for selling it...

Agreed. Even if the record company comes after you, you can at least ask them for registration fee.

At that point you will make a whopping 14$. (Hey, better than going in the hole!)

I think for 1 buck you got a good deal. If you are really a mobile designer then i would throw up a fan page or maybe some links to some of thier music in ringtone format.

I think it is a decent name for sure, you will just need to keep in mind of the TM issue.
