Hi, I'm new here and was wondering what my domain is worth? I've owned it for four years now and want to sell it.

Thanks

.ca domains don't usually have a very good aftermarket, and when you factor in that logo design (although a good generic business name) is not particularly a "big" business (with relatively low profit per transaction, except at the very high end), I would not expect anything higher than low hundreds even from end-users, unless you are very lucky. But good luck anyway, and welcome aboard! :)

I wouldn't say it's bad ccTLD, as all ccTLDs are by nature not that appealing as gTLDs. .ca domains are good for Canadians, just as .de for Germans. There aren't many "good" ccTLDs, except perhaps e.g. .tv for tv-related projects.

Mark001 .. the only appraisals that carry any weight are called "offers to buy" ... the rest are just uneducated guesses, wishfull thinking and self-serving prose.

IMHO Shaun

Looks like I'm learning about the prices of . ca names. -_-

I would also suggest keeping an eye on the "Domains Wanted" section of the site.
Sale price is often higher went a buyer is looking for for a specific name.

if there are restrictions, for the ownership and transfer of "whois', then it always limits the resell value and potential of a domain.

Do a search in google for "logo design" firms with .ca extensions, select from those who have long domain names or non specific terms in their url, and send "proposals of acquisition" to them.
