hi,

I bought lolhollywood.com thinking that it can be developed into a comedy site of some sort. any value to this name undeveloped?

thanks in advance

Probably little undeveloped. I don't see you getting an unsolicited offer for this one more than once in a blue moon.

Does anyone else think that this domain name is really brandable for a comedy oriented site? or is it all in my head:?:

I could give you a list of 1001 domains I thought would be great...thankfully I found and read through these forums before jumping in too deep.

lol = 572,000,000 hits on google

"LOL (also written lol and any other combination) is a common element of Internet slang used, historically, on Usenet but now widespread to other forms of computer-mediated communication, and even spread to face-to-face communication.LOL has also superseded the more-obvious "Ha!" that letter writers used to use" source-wiki

Hollywood of course needs no explanation. And given that hollywood.com is a site that encompasses anything that is Hollywood, is it too hopeful to think that lol hollywood is an ideal name for an INTERNET SITE that encompasses anything related to comedy in tinseltown?

Please don't take my defense as a sign of my being stubborn against rejection of this domain, just trying to ensure that the reasoning for why i chose it is understood.

On that note, hope this draws more opinions, both good and bad!

I see why you would think this has some value undeveloped but it just doesn't. You can't just throw two unrelated things together all the time. LOL and Hollywood great alone together doesn't make much sense. REG FEE.

As you said though it could make a great comedy site about celebrities. Make a nice logo, start off with a blog bashing britney and the likes, you'll probably triple your reg fee in a few weeks.

Apart from that as someone said above this are the early mistakes we all make when new to the game.
