J0sh, many of us had te same feeling about our fantastic names we registered years ago. It is a nice feeling, really, but does not add any value to a domain. Anyway is a good motivation to develop a name you feel is worth to be kept. So, if you plan to develop it - just do it. There will be another appraisal if a domain is developed and working.
There is an extreme lack of foresight if one suggests that there won't be some form of capitalization of the most commonly used internet initialisms.
