Hello Dn Forum,

I am currently working on scaling up my small business armpits.com and plan to make it the number one spot for deodorant and deodorant reviews. The site gets a lot of organic traffic and i have secured promotion via UGC creators plan to be released later this year. I am also in control of the @deodorant on Instagram as well. In order to this I am looking for either an investment or loan against the name using the site/username as collateral. The purpose would to be to secure products, brand partnerships as well as running targeted ads. The site is valued at $30,000 for the domain itself and I am requesting $5000 to $10K in funding either via loan or investment. If interested feel free to reach out to me here or via [email protected]

The hard part of what you are asking has nothing to do with the name itself. A domain only works as collateral if a lender can turn it into cash quickly, and a single unlisted name with no sales history is very difficult for a stranger to value. I have watched this from the other side a few times, and every deal that closed was structured as a share of future revenue rather than a loan against the asset.

What normally decides it is proof of steady income. If the site already turns organic traffic into ad or affiliate revenue, a few months of stable payouts plus a clear plan for the money will get you further than the thirty thousand figure. Anyone lending against a name will also want escrow at a registrar they control, which is standard rather than a red flag.

You already hold one asset that solves this, the creator promotion you mentioned. Offering that page a revenue share usually beats a loan, because they get upside instead of security they cannot enforce.
