Exactly the opposite methink. This promo stunt was so designed that Madonna would be elevated to the status of a super-diva while relating herself to the younger client base via Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera; of course, at the same time, these two teenie idols undoubtedly consolidated their own positions and also move one notch ahead of other competitors with this "endorsement" from the grandmother of all bad girls. LOL!

Yeah when you are a singer who really can't sing very good, you have to do something to get attention and stay in the spotlight.

That definitely goes for Britney and Madonna. IMO Christina actually has a pretty good voice but she just likes to be slutty.
