This one from my first look through seems quite lame.

Only a couple worth pursuing.

-=DCG=-

I think I saw only ONE decent generic domain and a few 3 chars...

good, then I'll spend less $$$ this week on TBR - lol

There is always another week :-)

But looks like more than a few are being sort after....interesting...

Looks like Sibername picked up dental.ca.

Thanks Adam for leaving a few for us this week! ;)

My weekly TBR process:

1. Review TBR list in detail, make list of all domains I like.
2. Backorder through Pool & Sibername.
3. Win (out of auction) a bunch of crappy domains I never should have back-ordered.
4. Loose all auctions because I'm too afraid to spend money on a good domain.
5. Keep working my day job.

Already at $1200. I will not be bidding on this one, I don't believe many will go to dental.ca.

-=DCG=-

$1200 is way overpriced. People look for "dentist", not "dental".

BTW, call me a .ca noob, but where do you see these auctions happening?

this one is at sibername.com

What I cannot get is why people pay Pool $60 for domains that were already offered here for $10 and $20.

I think dental.ca worth 1.5k, but I might be mistaken of course. I see dental.net being developed into informational portal and the directory. If you are making 1.5k a day, like these dentists, or 10k a day like a dentist office, wouldn't you want that name?

Msn, what names you are talking about? Perhaps not everyone who bids on Pool.com has access to Dnforum.com

There are 620 .ca domain registrations with dentist*.ca - and more than 50 of those are hyphenated, so the word as an adjective seems popular.

But dentalclinic.ca or dentalclinics.ca would seem to be better suggestions for a dentist directory.

As for the people who buy domains at pool but do not 'shop' here, too bad for them!

Msn your stats are very informative. Where do you search to find these results.
Thanks

also...If you do a whois search at CIRA.ca on a .CA name it will show you the info.
Search dental.ca there and you will see the info below the search results.
