Obviously he won't get $10,000,000 for selling it, but its possible to get $1,000,000 from the company that is eager to buy it. If I was to sell it i'd ask for 17.5% commission.

It's a shame too because there are likely buyers out there for marijuana.com willing to pay around $1 Million USD right now.
Rick would likely get about half the sale amount, since there is a partner involved who has a ownership stake in the domain from what I recall when discussing this matter with Rick ages ago.
But hey $500,000+ is still a good return ... folks who get greedy often end up with little to show for it in the end. When something is highly sought and one doesn't/no longer has the resources to maximize profits on it themselves, then it's likely time to sell ...
