At first I would say that this has no value until I did some research on .me domain names. I came across snapnames auction results archive and was surprised at how much in demand and the prices the .me names were going for. See the results at http://showcase.snapnames.com/archive (do a filter for .ME names). I would say you could get low $x,xxx if you were on that .ME auction. Otherwise, probably low $XXX. An end user who targets Valentine's Day would go for it.

You could hit the lottery....or get struck by lightning, so I guess you could get low X,XXX in that world. In the world I live in this name is worth ZERO. Tell me why you should be able to register this name for next to nothing and then have it be worth SOMETHING? I don't get it. What advantage did you have when you registered this name?

Fool's gold in this extention.

I agree it's hard to say. I was really wondering whether to even continue to pay the renewal by chance someone might find value in it.

if you have to think about renewing it - drop it.

Like the poster said above, if you have to think about it, then it is usually best to drop it. It doesn't really matter if someone might buy it in the future. This name is costing you time and money....at least an hour of your time thinking about it and posting this thread, and probably more than that.

Instead of letting it expire, I would delete it. That way you are done with it and you can move on. These are the types of times that really hold you back because you start thinking about possibilities, instead of the probabilities. This isn't the type of name that you can get really lucky on, like some real estate name or something that you know there are many potential end-users.

Thanks for having a good attitude about this. Cut and run.....there are plenty of valuable names out there right now that you can pick up cheap, whether it be forums or by emailing someone. That is where I would be trying to get lucky. Good luck to you.
