Hi all. Thanks in advance for help! While I know that meta descriptions are a good thing for pages and the site as a whole, are they really helpful for smaller parts such as individual blog posts and specfic blog categories as far as seo goes? It seems cumbersome...

Thanks!!

Jacal, I am not sure if you would like this answer, but I would say YES. They are important. The best part of it is, if you are actually targeting a very longtail keyword through that post, using a All-In-One SEO plugin and filling the details wouldn't take that long and most of the SEO is done by itself. Thanks to Google Panda in this case.
