Can a minor get into the same problems as an adult with TM issues? I would think it's unlikely, but not sure? Anyone know?

Absolutely.

I don't know why you think it would be unlikely. Minors are just as subject to civil liability as adults.

Many of the RIAA file sharing copyright suits have been filed against minors.
