Note to all!

Is it unfair to say that people who live in poor neighborhoods make poor investment choices?

I don't think so, but sorry for offending anyone.

You crack me up..always have to be right don't you? Your apology is disingenuious
when you have to add :

"Is it unfair to say that people who live in poor neighborhoods make poor investment choices? "

Yes it is...unfair.

How the hell can you make a statement like that? You think poor people are poor because they shot their wad on Lucent or Enron stock and got bashed? Theres many reasons that people are poor ... your example is a stereotype and racist to boot.

I can say I personally have known more well to do people making poor investments ... some knowing better some not.

Whatever Hal ... maybe find a way to express yourself without the elitiest attitude and picking specific groups to offend.

Jordan,
Congrats to you.

In this business, age is not an issue. Some comments above sometimes is useful if you address them in a positive way.

Well done to your sale.
Cheers,
TheWatcher

Thanks for the *interesting* words guys.

I'm not stupid.. I'm not throwing away my money or anything.

I am almost 17 :p.

The money will be reinvested into domains as long as I can get a good enough deal :)

So you'll continue to see more great names from me like this.

As mentioned earlier, details of the sale may or not be disclosed after it has been completed.

Icehole & Jordan - a little older, a few years.
I'm 23.

So, I dont know... guess it does suck to not get in the adult forums.
As far as your question, I'm not too into adult names because I couldnt really use them before. Just recently got a dedicated server, so now I can really stretch my elbows and not have to live by the rules of a shared server. In time, you will too. Sure the rule-makers have a good reason to keep ya out till then.
But, have got a few gems so far, off to a really good start in that niche.

Jordan, way to go man, thats really a deal you'll never forget, and could be a life changing event when you get your hands on it. Hope by now your prepared for what comes next! It's exciting, huh?

You deserve a lot of credit man, there's really not that many things one your age could do to hit big numbers like that besides having an athletic gift, or having been born with a supermodel figure, etc. Your in good company too, sure everyone here supports you and are happy to see you succeed.

Keep us posted on the sale!

I saw a while ago that Monte had this domain listed on his DomainSystems.com site for a while. When I spoke with him today he had some nice words about you Jordan.

Good luck with the sale.

Yea, Monte is great. I bought TopNames.com from him a couple years ago.

Moniker is the best high security registrar there is...without a doubt.

"As part of a series of transactions, Jordan Schwartz has agreed to transfer the domain name 'miracle.com' to New Miracle AG who has agreed to transfer the domain name to Leap of Faith Financial Services Inc. in exchange for Jordan Schwartz receiving compensation for his efforts in returning the name to New Miracle AG."

Feel free to followup in the new appraisal thread at:

If the mods can go ahead and close this thread, that would be great.

Miracle.com was stolen??

George, knowing that you are very good at uncovering stolen domains, and that fact coupled with the comments you made above, could lead someone to believe that there is/was something wrong with miracle.com. Could you please clarify?

I can't comment beyond the prior statement, sorry. I think the choice of words was pretty clear, though.
