Which registrar was the best in getting the names via pre-registration during the LandRush ?

A very interesting Question

... but sadly I don't have the answer :disappointed:

... I'd love to find out myself too :shy:

Resellerclub! i got like 70% of what i pre-ordered...

I thought i remeber hearing that godaddy did amazingly well. anyone care to comment?

Dotster.com had their "A" game on for the Mobi drops. Pool.com also did very well.

DomainPeople.com and Galcomm.com did a decent job for me as well. I heard for some GoDaddy did well I didn't know about their pre-order program until it was too late.

Based on my long list of pre-registrations:

BEST
-Dotster
-Pool
-GoDaddy
-Website.in

WORST
-Enom
-Moniker

Dotster pretty much blowed everyone away. Enom pretty much just blowed.

I agree. Dotster was spectacular during the MOBI release on September 26th.

GoDaddy had a very clean and fair approach. No multiple preregs, no auctions afterwards, flat $60 rates. Once you were in the line no one else could get the name with them. GoDaddy spread out reservations between many clones (GoItaly, GoFrance, GoAustralia, ...) so success rate was high too. They learned from bad .eu experience.
The only bad thing was they were freezing the money while i.e. DomainPeople (Hostway) were only charging successful regs after the fact.

GoDaddy - best experience
(after eu landrush Parsons said they lost lots of money, I knew with his aggressive approach he will do everything to succeed in mobi case)
