Just wanted to get a feel for what people's opinion is of .mobi's. There have obviously been some notable sales, such as flowers.mobi and several others. But I'm interested to get everyones opinion on these other then the uber premiums. Your thoughts...

Is this going to turn into a thread like it would over at NP? :P

Some day .mobi will overtake .com

It happened already at NP

:noidea: I have no idea

but i think .mobi is better than .me

it would have to be a name the fits the extention.

hasn't lived up to expectations... yet, IMO

.Mobi has potential. Many companies have invest in developing the .mobi version of their .com website or at least see the potential and forward the .mobi extension to their .com domains. For example, Chase owns Chase.mobi and I don't think they will be interested in Chase.me... lol. Weather.mobi, Google.mobi... and many more examples.

It will have its place in the mobile web. It will probably be years before the mobile web has developed enough but I think it will have a place. Not the default tld for mobile sites but no doubt many sites who deal exclusively in mobile will use .mobi.

Where are all the wikipedia links? *waiting*

.mobi?
